We plan the offline setup with your IT team: where it runs, how it is sized, and when it goes live around your surgery schedule.

Questions
Does ConductSurgery need internet access when it runs offline?
No. Once it is installed, planning, trajectory checks, checklists and exports all run on your own network. An update check is the only outside connection, and only if your IT team turns it on.
Where are surgery plans and coordinates stored?
On the server or computer where ConductSurgery is installed, inside your network. Backups go to storage your IT team chooses.
Can we use it at the stereotaxic frame?
Yes. Open ConductSurgery from any computer on your network that can reach the server, or install it on one computer in the surgery room. Worksheets print from there too.
Does the atlas structure lookup work offline?
Yes. The atlas structure data ships inside ConductSurgery, so looking up structures for your coordinates needs no internet connection.
How do updates work?
Each update is a signed file that your IT team installs after a backup, at a time that fits your surgery schedule. They can return to the previous release. A lab network with no internet access can receive the file by hand.
What computer or server do we need?
We size it with your IT team, based on how many people plan surgeries and how many rooms use it. A single computer is enough for one surgery room. A shared server fits a core facility or several labs.
How does licensing work?
The offline edition is licensed to your institution, and the license check runs on your own network. Terms are set with you during setup.
Is the online version of ConductSurgery still available?
Yes. ConductSurgery still runs at conductsurgery.com, and the browser planner is free to try.
